nine to five: Martijn in’t Veld – E (2017)

täglich vom 11.–31. Dezember 2020, von 21 bis 5 Uhr am Grand Palais

nine to five is a nomadic exhibition series that proposes an alternative space and a different time logic. At irregular intervals, invited artists present their moving image productions on a publicly accessible screen from 9 pm to 5 am. Curated by Deborah Müller

The video work E was written and produced by Martijn in’t Veld in the context of the collaborative project European Everything by Joar Nango as part of documenta 14 in Kassel and Athens. Martijn in’t Veld´s video tells a poetic and absurd story out of the perspective of a refrigerator that ended up on a scrapyard and deals with questions on property, inequality, and freedom.

Martijn in’t Veld (*1980) is a Berlin-based artist and writer. His publications include cookbooks, weather reports from the days famous artists died, or poems written on the bottom of worn socks. More information: www.thenameofthesunisyellow.com
